Oh yea...that events listing thing

Over the last two weeks I've slacked a bit on updating local shows, mainly because news was slow last week and I've been quite busy this week.

So in order to catch up, here's the rundown on everything I missed...

At Pacha: Boris on June 12, Oscar G on June 18, and Jonathan Peters on June 26. Paul Oakenfold on July 2, Laidback Luke on July 3, and Erick Morillo on July 4.

At Governor's Island: Benny Benassi on July 5.

At Love: Tritional on July 17.

All ticket info and links will be to the right.

Weekly shows update

Once again not much to announce unless your a member of Blk|Market, which has recently listed a couple new events.

Something noteworthy though is the upcoming Unite Music Festival in Buffalo on May 28-31, featuring four days of events with performers Gareth Emery, Eddie Halliwell, Menno De Jong, Christopher Lawrence, Serge Devant, and others.

This weekend:

Friday: Love is hosting another dubstep event put on by Headhunter, Sepalcure, and Spatial. Agoria will bring Balance 016 to 50 Bowery, and Benny Benassi and Steve Aoki will play Pacha on the same night.

First acts for Electric Zoo 2010 announced

After months of Made Event keeping the 2010 Electric Zoo festival's lineup under wraps, they have finally leaked the first wave of artists appearing onstage at the two day event.

Saturday:

The Chemical Brothers
Paul van Dyk
Benny Benassi
ATB

Sunday:

Armin Van Buuren
Above & Beyond
John Digweed
Fedde Le Grand

So far, Sunday's lineup this year is leaning towards a trance sound, while Saturday's lineup has a nice variety of genres. England's The Chemical Brothers will be headlining Saturday in support of their new album, with the festival being only one of two United States dates on their summer schedule.

House and cherries

Some notable names have been announced to play New York City venues in the upcoming months.

Last week I skipped out on mentioning that Chris Lake is playing Cielo on Valentine's Day. Luciano Pardini, a popular name for Beatport downloaders, is scheduled to play at the same venue four days later.

Pacha has also booked the biggest name in house- David Guetta, for another show at the venue on Wednesday, February 24. The house vibes will continue at Pacha when Benny Benassi enters the booth on Friday, March 19.

Finally on Saturday, April 3, electro house DJ and producer Boyz Noize will pair up with Major Lazer for a show at Terminal 5.

Ticket ordering and event details can be accessed by clicking the links above.
