Ferry Corsten to release new album, embark on concept tour

On March 30, Ferry Corsten (who rocked NYC's Nokia Theatre a couple weeks ago) will be releasing his latest compilation, Once Upon A Night, on Ultra Records.

The double-disc album will feature 25 all-new productions, including DJ Eco's "Dancing Under Streetlights", which Eco talked about a little bit in an interview I did with him last week.

One of the cooler aspects of this album is the tour that Ferry will be doing to support it, which will feature a "living backdrop" with visuals of a day progressing from sunset, through the night, and then sunrise.

It seems like the industry is starting go beyond the traditional stage show lighting visuals by creating these elaborate sets. Deadmau5 mentioned recently on TranceAddict that his new tour will feature a large, LED mouse head. It'll be interesting to see how this one plays out too.
